ONE HOUR A WEEK
Musician Cell Groups (MCG) believes that true success in the music industry is built from consistent hard work on your plan, not by the consistent planning of your hard work. Actions versus words, challenge versus chatter, doing versus delaying.
Now, the global community of musicians, singers, producers, engineers, topliners, and music executives are coming together to build an army of support for each other. Meeting for an hour each week in small groups, these musicians are reclaiming their industry. Join us.

#2: JOIN THE MCG FACEBOOK COMMUNITY
The MCG community thrives online and our Facebook community group is where most of our global conversation and events are initiated and discussed. Outside of weekly Cell Groups, the MCG Facebook community is the second busiest hub of activity for most MCG participants. Everyone in the community is part of a functioning Cell Group, so make sure to complete Step #1 above before requesting entry.
After observing in several online music production communities that a lot of "advice giving" was happening but very little career progress was being made by the majority of forum members, record producer Deane Ogden live-streamed about the potential creation of a small group community in which musicians would commit to helping each other write, record, and perform better music rather than debating the merits of Instagram pods and follower counts.
A format was suggested: Eight people meeting online for an hour each week, with one of them in the "Hot Seat" — a dedicated time slot in which they command the full group's attention, wisdom, and shared knowledge on a subject of their choosing. Groups would continue to include outsiders until a maximum eight member capacity is reached, and then divide like "cells" into two healthy independent groups.
Today, Musician Cell Groups is a leading online source of support and peer accountability for musicians, singers, music producers and engineers. Steered by its appointed Board of Directors, MCG is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

MCG has helped me in so many facets of life it's unbelievable. You're immediately in contact with people who are involved in this industry who always seemed so foreign and unobtainable. This community is an absolute goldmine.
Being part of a Cell Group has helped me work around the obstacles in my life and reminded me that nothing is impossible if you are willing to do the work and ask for guidance.
From building very strong personal and professional bonds to developing my own confidence and leadership skills, joining Musician Cell Groups has by far been the most meaningful move I've made in my music career.
The Musician Cell Group leadership and staff is dedicated to the growth and sustainability of each and every Musician Cell Group and to the health and vitality of the entire music-making community. We are constantly identifying qualified self-starters to help organize regional events, assist new members in finding their Cell Group home, and facilitate discussions on the Facebook community page.

It’s easy to feel alone and like you’re casting all your efforts into the void in the music industry. Being able to bounce ideas in our weekly call allows me to find the correct solution faster, and that saves me time and money.
A lot of effort goes into making this a safe place where you can be yourself, bring your insecurities, your struggles, and not be judged for any of it. This isn’t a group of people who brag about their accolades, but rather selflessly help others achieve their dreams.
